The problem
App blockers are easy to dismiss when they are disconnected from the action I actually want to complete.
The bet
If distracting apps unlock only after a meaningful health, time, or schedule condition is met, blocking can support an intended behavior instead of feeling like an arbitrary restriction.
What I built
Rules can unlock selected apps after an Apple Health goal, a fixed focus duration, or a recurring schedule condition.
My role
I designed independent Screen Time rules, overlap-safe enforcement, persistence and migration behavior, and the onboarding and accessibility experience.
Where it stands
- No account or backend required
- Domain and interface test coverage
- Accessibility and Spanish-language support
